SECURE CLIENT ACCESS

Today's spotlight is on a particular feature of the original Clockwork Media website and is something no production company should be without  - the private client access area. Faster, safer, and simpler than uploading/downloading multiple GBs, a private client access area allows clients to preview production projects securely. Using video streaming and embed technology, projects can be easily viewed, away from the public's eyes.

BELOW: The client login box can be seen in the upper right corner. When clicked, a login menu drops down, allowing easy input.

After clicking "Log In" on the top bar, users see the bar drop to reveal our login area. By clicking "close", the bar will slide back up and return to its normal hidden position. Programmed using Java and PHP scripts, with no Flash, for functionality across all desktop and mobile Internet browsers.

Designed to work with Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, iOS, Android, Blackberry and others. When accessed through a mobile device, the login menu works in conjunction with our mobile website to allow on-the-go review, resized and reshaped for phone screens.

After logging in with their user info, the client (TEIN used here as an example) is automatically redirected to their private preview/access page. There we place embedded videos, photos, and assets for viewing. The client is then free to review these projects and provide feedback. Logins are not singular, meaning multiple members from the same company can review simultaneously. After logging out, users are redirected to the homepage. NOTE: Even if the user navigates to other pages on the site, they can return to their client area by clicking the link in the drop-down menu.

Each client access page is locked to its respective client's login. Other logins cannot access the page and even if the direct URL was entered, it would only appear with the proper login. Private and simple.
