SCION DRIVEN TO DRIFT – IRWINDALE

Our first season producing the Scion Racing: Driven To Drift series ended on a bittersweet note at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, CA. Our "home" drifting racetrack, Toyota Speedway is a mere 30-minutes away from our offices and is close to Scion HQ and both drift teams. We had high hopes for a great finish and winning storyline but mechanical troubles fell on Team Need For Speed's Fredric Aasbo right in front of our cameras. RS*R's Ken Gushi gave one of his best drives all season but some times, that's racing.

We've learned a lot during the 2011 Formula Drift season about how the series works and how the teams mesh together. Both drivers will be returning with Scion Racing in 2012 and we look forward to the adventure of producing Season 4 of Driven To Drift.
